A guided kayaking tour around Hofsnäs
We start out from Hofsnäs and paddle up through Yttre Åsunden and continue in through Fästeredssund (the sound between outer Åsunden and main Åsunden). We turn around just as we enter Åsunden and paddle back and around some of the islands in Yttre Åsunden. The last part of the trip goes through Torpasjön where we can spot Torpa castle from a distance.
During the trip, we will also talk about the interesting history of the area. We stop at convenient places along the way where we cook lunch toghether and take a fika break.
This trip is a guided tour and begins at Hofsnäs Mansion. It is suitable for both beginners and the more skilled paddler. The trip is for the whole day of approximately 6 hours, of which 4 will be spent paddling. Lunch and fika is included.
We start at 10 o’clock at Hofsnäs boat house in Yttre Åsunden and begin with a short introduction and instruction of the kayak. We go through the basics so that everyone will be comfortable and safe in the water. The tour will end at the western shore of Hofsnäs at about 4 p.m.
There are suitable parking at Hofsnäs Mansion, and will be the tours start and finish.
