Paddle and hike two days in beautiful surroundings of Hofsnäs

Discover Hofsnäs, a beautiful cultural nature reserve. Here you will hike on beautiful trails and paddle in the two lakes Yttre Åsunden and Torpasjön. You will sleep one night in a tent, already raised and prepared for you, and cook a prepared meal for yourselves on storm cooker or over open fire. All this in the middle of nature and close by the lake. We will do all the planing so that you can just enjoy.

During this trip, we will prepare everything for you so you can enjoy nature without having to plan or worry about forgetting anything. We will raise the tent, make the beds with sleeping bags and carry-on mats. You will find a box of food waiting for you to prepare and all the necessary equipment needed. Furthermore, we will transport your luggage to and from the camping area so that you only have to carry what you need for the day.

When out in the canoes there are several places to go ashore and explore. Beaches where you can go swimming and stones to fish from. On the hike back to Hofsnäs you can explore the woods and play games. We provide you with some materials to make the journey fun for everyone, old and young,

For extra safety and comfort, you can add a guide to join for the trip, or just a part of it.

Day 1

We meet up at Hofnsäs Mansion at lunch where we cook a meal together and go through what you need to know for the trip. When that is done, we will give instructions on paddling so that you can feel safe to make the trip to the camp site. We will give you some tips on what you can do on the way and when you arrive you will find the tent ready, a box with food, equipment and fuel. You will prepare your own food for dinner before snuggling up in your sleeping bags for the night.

We will transport your luggage to and from the camp site. You just bring what you need for the day with you.

Day 2

You will wake up to birdsong, come out of the tent to cook breakfast and maybe light a fire. When you are ready you will pack up and then start the second part of the trip. The hike back to Hofsnäs through the landscape is about 3 kilometre. In your food box you will find fika (coffee and something sweet) to bring and enjoy along the way. You will also get some materials and fun activities to do along the way.

We will retrieve the canoes, the tent, and equipment from the camp site, as well as your luggage. It will wait for you back at Hofsnäs Mansion.
